Project 5 Task 1

The benefits of blogging for students can be summed up in two words: Connection and Creation. Students of today's classroom have had the internet at their fingertips for their entire life, which is fantastic. However, a meaningful experience and engaging curriculum can be fostered through the use of blogging. Students can use a blog to do a number of things, not limited to cataloging and reflecting on their learning, or explaining a new concept. The great thing about students blogging is that it takes them from being a passive consumer of the internet and information there in, to an active contributor. Further, it enables their learning and their voice to spread beyond the confines of a classroom or school to the entire world.
